Wookiees live on the planet of Kashyyyk. They are big hairy beasts and are known for their incredible strength. Their weapons are usually the Bowcaster and they use Thermal Detonators. They can build almost anything out of wood, and they helped Yoda escape from the Galactic Empire, during order 66. They were enslaved shortly after, by the Empire. The Wookiees are allied with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance.

Strategies in defeating the Wookiees

• Set up a safe point far away from combat and pick them off as a sniper. Unlike other NPCs, they don't fire back; they only dodge a sniper shot (note for Star Wars Battlefront I may work for two).

Trivia

• These Wookiees appear in conquest mode in all of the Kashyyyk maps, they are not playable except in hunt mode.
• In hunt mode, you can't play the Wookiees with rocket launchers.
• In Battlefront 1, it is possible to play as the Wookiee team (including Wookiees with Rocket Launchers) in unofficial custom-made maps or editing the mission.lvl.
• When playing Battlefront 1, the Rebels' Wookiee Smuggler's skin is changed to avoid confusion with one of the native Wookiee classes.
