Clone Shadow Troopers were Elite clone troopers. They were armed with DC-19 "Stealth" carbine rifles. This unit is present in the BFX 2.2 mod and Elite Sides mod and is equipped with the very powerful orbital strike detpack, and in the Elite Sides mod it is used as the engineer class, with its DC-19 carbine, stealth capabilities, disguise kit and three auto-turrets

During the Clone Wars, the role of the Shadow Trooper expanded, performing some sniper duties, while others would be used for covert operations on battlefields. After the Clone Wars, they would be reorganized into the Storm Shadow Troopers.
