Princess Leia is the twin sister of Luke Skywalker, and daughter of Anakin Skywalker, who she knows as Darth Vader. Leia is seen in the first sequence of Episode IV: A New Hope, sending a message with the two droids C-3PO and R2-D2, as the ship she is on, the Tantive IV, is being ransacked and she is being taken board a large star destroyer. She is put into captivity on the Death Star, and tortured in an attempt to make her reveal the secrets of the Rebel Alliance, of which she is a major member of. Her noncooperation earns her the sight of her home planet, Alderaan, being destroyed. Luke Skywalker, whom she does not know is her brother yet, rescues her, and Leia is taken on many journeys with Luke and his friends Han Solo (with whom she falls in love) and Chewbacca. A major contributor to the Rebels, and not bad with a gun, Leia becomes an invaluable presence at Yavin 4, Hoth: Echo Base, and Endor: Bunker. In the game, Leia packs a Beam Rifle-like pistol (with a double-zoom scope), as well as Invulnerability, making her a very powerful ally. Leia is as tough as most heroes, but is weaker than Han and Chewie.
