"I am sending you to Mustafar system in the Outer Rim. It is a volcanic planet....you will be safe there."
General Grievous in Revenge of the Sith speaking to the Separatist Council on Utapau.

Description[]

A Volcanic planet in the Outer Rim near Jestefad, which houses factories and is the homeworld of the Mustarfarians and Lava Fleas. This Map features the Refinery from Star Wars Episode III-Revenge of the Sith.

Mustafar is the lava-covered planet where the CIS conducts its final meetings in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The leaders of the CIS were sent to Mustafar for their "protection", but were eventually killed by Darth Vader. The entire Refinery is destroyed soon after. Near the end of Episode III, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan have an epic battle on pieces of metal floating on the lava rivers, after Anakin accuses Obi-Wan of turning Padme against him. Anakin is eventually beaten, and cast into the lava, where his body is mostly destroyed (creating the need for all the life-support gear worn by the later Darth Vader). Recognizable features in the game include the control room for the factories located on the planet and the landing pad where Obi-Wan's ship lands. This map has a few open areas where long range battle will occur, but there are many cramped rooms on this map, so be ready to fight close-range as well. Generally, good use of a Blaster Rifle will swing the battle in your favor. A strange feature in Conquest is in the control room with two lava bridges. Using a Rocket Launcher, or any weapon except the detpack (so you have to be present), will destroy a panel that sends the bridges into the lava, killing anyone on them. This tactic is frequently employed when playing online. However, simply using a Fusion Cutter will bring them back up. (In the PSP version of the game the control panel cannot be destroyed)

  • In the PlayStation Portable games, the map is smaller than the main versions, though what is included is different dependant on the game:
    • In the PlayStation Portable version of Star Wars: Battlefront II, the entire middle section of the map is absent.
    • In Star Wars: Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, the top and middle parts of those same rooms are present, but the bottom part is absent.
