IFT-T

Tank

Affiliation:

Galactic Empire

Ship Details
Crew:

2 1 Pilot, 1 Gunner

The IFT-T tank, used during the Galactic Civil War, is the successor to the IFT-X that was used during the Clone Wars by the Republic. It has seen seldom service where the superior mobile firepower, offered by the AT-ST was generally used as a better option against the Rebels.

Gameplay[]

As the counterpart to the Rebel Alliance's AAC-1 Hovertank, the IFT-T excels as a longer ranged tank, whereas the AAC performs better in close range engagements.

Skilled pilots can use their superior maneuverability to dodge incoming rocket fire and keep at a safe distance with the range of their powerful cannons and missiles. The beam turret is a weaker choice against vehicles so the driver should use their missiles against enemy armor.

While tough, the gunner is exposed to enemy fire and the rear door can be struck for extra damage by a shrewd enemy.

Trivia[]

  • The IFT-T is essentially a reskinned version of the IFT-X for the Clone Wars Era.
  • Unlike the AI operating the IFT-X, gunners in the IFT-T will target all enemies freely.
