Han Solo is the arrogant pilot of the Millennium Falcon introduced in Episode IV: A New Hope. He is very good friends with the wookiee Chewbacca, and together they form a strong team and friendship, with Han's blaster and Chewbacca's bowcaster. Han is also the second toughest of all of the good heroes, beaten only by his pal Chewbacca. Han is a skilled repairman and pilot, and he eventually earns the love of Princess Leia. Solo comes to the rescue many times throughout the films, and he is a key fighter for the Rebel Alliance.

In the game, Han has a great gun as well as a Fusion Cutter, which means he is the only hero that can fix medical and repair droids. His detpacks are also handy for luring AI enemies and killing them with one explosion. He is definitely not a Jedi, though, so be careful when going into crowded places with him.

By modding, there is a stormtrooper skin for Han Solo but it it was scrapped, suggesting that an escape from the Death Star mission was planned but was cut along with the Han stormtrooper skin.

Trivia

• In Star Wars Battlefront II, when seen by stormtroopers, they sometimes yell the line "It's Han Solo, but he's shooting first! That's not fair!". This is very likely a reference to the controversial change in which the scene from the original movie is modified to show Greedo shooting Han Solo first.
• There is a glitch in the PC version where if you switch to the fusion cutter, you cannot go back to the pistol.
  • However, this doesn't apply to when you play on Mos Eisley Hero Assault.
