The Blaster Pistol is a semi-automatic secondary weapon carried by many of the units in the game. It comes with unlimited ammo, but it overheats after several seconds of continuous fire. It's not the most effective weapon within the games, but performs well, most notably when landing head shots, it remains haphazard otherwise. If working towards the Precision Pistol, hit your opponent with your primary weapon until their HP is almost depleted, then switch to the pistol and finish them off for a count towards the Awards weapon.
