Within DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II, there are always two opposing factions within an engagement, one from the "Light Side" and one from the "Dark Side". The Dark Side includes the Separatists, the Galactic Empire, and the First Order and is also a general term used for anything used by them. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Heroes
- Soldiers
- Vehicles
- Weapons
that are used by the Separatists, the Galactic Empire, or the First Order.
The Light Side is the direct opposite to the Dark Side.
