Death Troopers

Why do the Death Troopers have machine guns? In regular Star Wars, their main weapon is the E-11D blaster rifle, which was a modification of the stormtrooper’s gun, the E-11. So why did they decide to make them have heavy blasters?

Battlefront ll Potential #2

Potential Reinforcents

Palpatine’s Royal Guards:

When Palpatine is in the battle, his slot in the menu is changed into a royal guard. It’ll cost 2500 BP and would spawn the players on the Emperor himself. The closer the player is to the Emperor, the more points they’ll get overall and possibly a damage reduction. It might also be an optional reinforcement on Death Star ll.

Weapon: Heavy Blaster ideal in mid-range combat

-Temporary health

-Deadly vibroblade strike similar to that of Jyn Erso’s in Battlefront 1, it does double damage to jedi heroes

-A smart rocket

They would only be available on large maps due to their mobility such as Khasyyk and Geonosis and not Kamino or Naboo. They’d cost 3000 BP. They would have the same health as a jet trooper but with an addition of a shield about the strength of Iden’s. The shield would regenerate over time and would thus force the players to watch out for the shield health and retreat if needed.

Weapon: Duel cannons best at close range, highly inaccurate at mid-range and above.

-Heat sink allowing the droid to fire without heating up for a short time

-Shield repair to counter the slow shield regen and works similar to star fighter repair

-A toggle between rolling and standing

First Order Riot Trooper:

Available in any sequel maps. This is a melee only trooper, making it play similar to that of lightsaber heroes. Hence, it’s abilities are to help it survive at the front lines. It would cost the same as a jet trooper. As a bonus, they could shout 'Traitor!' when in close proximity with Finn.

Weapon: Baton; 100 damage per hit

-Temporary Health

-A shield rush; Trooper would place shield up front, giving as much cover as a heavy’s shield and would rush forward. Similar to Han’s rush but with a shield. First enemy to be hit would be knocked down and cancel the ability.

-Adrenaline; Increases speed and damage reduction for a short period.

Which Idea is best?
  • Royal Guard
  • Droideka
  • First Order Riot Trooper

Battlefront ll Potential #1

Scarif DLC

Galactic Assault

Galactic Assault Phase 1:

Rebels need to plant explosives on Zeta-Class transports to lure the Imperial forces away from the main attack group. Imperials have to disarm the explosives once planted. (It would work similar to the first phase of Yavin lV)

Phase 2:

Rebels would have to contest and secure the entrance to the citadel tower. Imperials would have to defend said position until enemy tickets run out. (Similar to

phase 2 of Crait)

Phase 3:

Rebels would have to turn on the master control switch in two locations to send out a signal strong enough for the Rebel fleet above to intercept. The Imperials would have to stop them from turning it on until the tickets run out. (Similar to the phases on Death Star ll)

Director Krennic

Weapon: His blaster from battlefront 2015 (DT-29)

>Director’s Presence; Emits a large radius where allies gain a small health boost and damage reduction of up to 35%. Krennic gains 50% damage reduction and 100 extra health temporarily.

>A toggle for his weapon from a 6-shot blaster to a single powerful shot

>A flash grenade very similar to that of the officer’s. Only it blinds for a longer duration, does 20 more damage and explodes to multiple pieces on impact. Not requiring a trigger.

Jyn Erso

Weapon: Her blaster from battlefront 2015 (A-180)

>A thermal imploder with a faster recharge time compared to the wookiee warrior and has a larger blast radius

>A toggle for her weapon from a single shot blaster to a rapid fire blaster dealing heavy damage close-range

>Truncheon surge; each hit would lunge Jyn forward like a lightsaber hero and does 125 damage and knocks down enemies. Normal recharge time would be around 10 seconds. However, every successful hit would instantly recharge the ability.

Smaller gamemodes

-Rebels would have to extract a cargo shipment within the citadel tower from the vaults to the cargo lift. Imperials would have to stop these Rebel troopers from reaching that point. In close quarters combat, reminiscent of Death Star ll.

-Team deathmatch inside the tower as well as on the beach

Potential new skins:

> Imperial Assault, Specialist and Heavy

Eadu scientist

>Imperial officer

Tank pilot

>Imperial Heavy

Yavin lV lieutenant:

>Rebel officer

X-Wing pilot

>Rebel Assault

Rebel Path Finder

>Assault, Heavy

Playing by era

Do you think we will ever get to play by eras instead of game modes? For example, you only play Clone Wars content, but every game mode is included. I think it would be really fun, especially for the people who are mostly playing for clone content (myself included!).

As for the different amount of people for different game modes (e.g. strike has 16 players total, Galactic Assault has 40), I think they could easily modify strike to have more people (just add more targets, tweak it a little...). What do you think?

New hero ships for the Clone Wars update?

I didn't hear anything about new clone Wars hero ships adding to the game. Obi Wan's and Anakin's ship from III, Dooku's from II, and for General Grievous, I don't know. Maybe Ashoka's?

They should really do this

I like battlefront 1 a bit more because it had veichles in offline modes so I could play with my brother. I also really like that you can choose your power ups instead of finding them on the floor like on battlefront 1.
